Good for you!
How different is different?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Modest amount of protien, controlled amount of fats, little bit of fruit, little bit of whole grain, zero refined starches or sugar, whole lotta veggies. It's the eating plan recommended by Overeaters Anonymous, as relayed to me by a physician's assistant who had lost significant amounts of weight attending meetings. (I've never gone to a meeting.)
One thing that is very, very different from most diets? I never got up from a meal wondering where the rest of it was. Many times, particularly at first, I would carefully measure out portions according to directions, then look at my plate and think, "How in blazes am I supposed to eat all that?"
Is there anyone up that is willing to help me with a bit of Teacup Guy's resume?
sj, I could take a look, though not sure how much help I'd be.
WS, I'm not a huge vegetable person (which is probably part of the problem), but I'm getting to the point where I'll try anything. Giving up sugar will be HARD.
Profile addy is good, for both of you.
Ailleann, insent.
Bleargh. It's 10pm and I'm just now leaving work. I'd like to say that this is unusual, but really? It's not. I mentioned that we needed to hire another person for this dept. to my boss today and emailed him a formal request for someone. Please, dear dog, please. Let him say yes.

ETA: ChiKat, I hope they get that worked out. You deserve to have a life, to relax and all that good stuff.
sj, backflung.
The lunch I had from Arby's at 1 seems to have worn off.
Holy moly! I had no clue!
Apparently I'm tricksy. I live just between UA and Grandview, by the random farmland.
Steph, you live in Cinci, yes?
Yes, indeed. Home to Graeter's and Skyline, yum.
