Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Bleargh. It's 10pm and I'm just now leaving work. I'd like to say that this is unusual, but really? It's not. I mentioned that we needed to hire another person for this dept. to my boss today and emailed him a formal request for someone. Please, dear dog, please. Let him say yes.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ailleann, insent.

ETA: ChiKat, I hope they get that worked out. You deserve to have a life, to relax and all that good stuff.

Our wings are not tired

The lunch I had from Arby's at 1 seems to have worn off.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Holy moly! I had no clue!

Apparently I'm tricksy. I live just between UA and Grandview, by the random farmland.

Steph, you live in Cinci, yes?

Yes, indeed. Home to Graeter's and Skyline, yum.

Although I did like the mutant nacho things from Gold Star.

Those may still be around. I don't go to Gold Star, not because of some Skyline loyalty, but there aren't any Gold Stars close to where I live and/or work.

What about...ooooo...what was it...Camp Washington Chili? I think that was the one. They were yummy too. I spent so much time eating at the Skyline in Clifton.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

mmmmmmm. Skykine.

What's this? Flying cows?

Mmm, buffalo wings. Now enough for the whole family!

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Skippy skippy.

First day of work went well, thanks for all the good wishes. The people seem very nice so I'm very hopeful about it all.

I'm also crazily still functioning on the 2.5 hours of sleep I got last night. I'm going to bed soon, though. I swear. I'll have to be getting to work a half hour earlier than the last job I worked.
