Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't think my high school does reunions. This year would be my 20th, too, if it happened and I somehow found out about it.

Oh, that's right, pizza! What a good idea. I'm planning on baking some bread tomorrow. And having a beer. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but I've wanted one all week...stupid fence making the grass look all green over there.

Obviously, we'll just need to hold our own 20th reunion, no specific high school affiliation necessary.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

ChiKat, I did move.

Well, see, it wasn't just me that moved. My whole family moved. Parents, younger siblings and even one older sibling. All moved out of state. There was no one left to tell them where I went.

Hmm, I did that, too, ChiKat. Actually, my family moved about a week after I graduated and I stuck around for a month so I could go to the beach with some classmates. In any case, my high school didn't have an alumni association or anything.

Obviously, we'll just need to hold our own 20th reunion, no specific high school affiliation necessary

I like this plan.

What is even happening?

I missed my 20th, back in November. The RSVP time was right around when Ben was having all those medical tests. By the time he was cleared on 11/9, I was emotionally exhausted, and the reunion was on Julia's birthday, to boot.

I went to my fifth, and it was too soon. I missed my tenth, because I was in my 8th month of pregnancy and moved about two weeks before. I went to my 15th and had a great time. Everyone was over themselves, and it was truly nice to see people. I wish I'd made my 20th, but I just didn't have it in me, at the time.

I think I post the same words, every time high school reunions are brought up. I am every woman from my maternal line. Ever.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would love to go to my high school reunion, except we don't have any. I'm curious about everyone.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

I want to go to one before it becomes watching to see who's alive. But the terrorists, I believe, messed with my ten-year one. Maybe by the twentieth I'll be pulled together or something.

I did like high school and had good friends there, but my school was pretty big (4,000 students). I didn't know most of my graduating class. My friends were met through clubs (band, theatre, speech) and didn't follow class lines.

There are maybe 10 people from my graduating class of 900 that I care to know about. Makes reunions fairly pointless for me.

My graduating class was probably 70 or so girls, and I'm curious about them all, whether or not I liked them. My nosiness knows few boundaries in that regard.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

My high school has misplaced me. My university has a freaky ability to track down alumni wherever they move. If my school's Living Endowment people had been sic'ced on Osama Bin Laden, he'd have been in custody long ago.
