Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

oh Laura, he was indeed adorable! and so very patient with you and the camera! and the kids in coordinating pink and white (was that a GARTER on his sleeve?)!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

The rain seemed like it was letting up for a few minutes there, but no, not so much. We had to go out to get laundry detergent, and it was an adventure navigating all around the flooded out local roads.

I have to make edits to my essays now.

Grumpy about mother's day. I'm not hanging out with mom this weekend, and I feel pretty shitty about it. I advanced the idea about doing a makeup mother's day, but I think my mom thinks I suck for that, and has been very evasive about a date to do it.

Also, our basement has a lot of water in it.

In conclusion: feh.

Toddson, the garter thing is big here at Prom. I didn't realize it translated down to the 8th grade dance level. K-Bug is going nuts, she needs a black and red one for her boyfriend.

huh. Being completely out of the teen dance loop, I'd never heard of any such thing. Weird.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm impressed with you for attempting something so ambitious, vw. We are not a culinary family. I was twelve before I knew about scratch cakes. Actually, don't think I've ever eaten Yorkshire pudding, either. My hair is now very gold, and a little strawberry, too. Which is unexpected but positive...the reddish bits. Thirding "if my doctor looked like that..." in re House.

Me too, and I have a teen. If I had known about it I might have made Brendon wear a red one.

Happy Mothers Day!

(I, being a daughter with a horrible work schedule, had to very bashfully ask my mom if we could delay celebrations until June. Mom said that was fine, but I still feel like the World's Worst Daughter about it. I'm going to call her later today.)

Ugh. Don't want to copy edit any more topics today. Pity that's not an option.

Oh ebay experts - when the clock starts ticking down on an auction - when does the sniping start? I'm selling something and am wondering if there will be a last minute flurry.

Our wings are not tired.

The kids have both told me Happy Mother's Day without prompting, and they have been responsive to my chore requests. Who could ask for anything more?

DH is in Nebraska. He has a couple cousins there and one's son and the other's daughter are graduating HS this weekend. He's enjoying himself. He said we'd do something when he got back. Probably will delay until June since he gets back Tuesday morning and I leave Wednesday morning.
