Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

That's, like, the whole basis for 21st century post-industrial society.

Ahhhhh!

(my paper is on globalization, so, heh. Very apropos)

Hee.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Can't nap. Stupid clowns.

vw, do NOT pay. Trust me, lenders are total deferral sluts. Esp. for three months. Really, truly.

I have enough student loans to buy a fucking house, and I have deferred MANY times, for far less compelling reasons than yours.

Aha! Well, she is always right.

See?

Maybe I'll actually call them, explain the circumstances, and ask what I should do.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think the depressive funk I have been dealing with for a few days has finally lifted thanks to a lot of sleep. Now if the rain would just stop, all would be perfect.

Nora, good luck with they essays. You can do it.

vw, good luck with Mother's Day dinner and presentation and with the loan stuff. I hate that that stuff always seems to come in on a Saturday when there is nothing you can do about it.

Like Erin, I have deferred a vast quantity of student loans. I'm positive that you will get the deferment, but it probably is a good idea to call so that they can say "fill out form whatever" and you can slide through the process most easily.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

vw, you could get an unemployment deferment. That avoids the shrink, the letter, the blah, and the blah. And deferrals are WAY easy to get. They want you to have it. It looks better for them than if you don't pay. They get in trouble for that, oddly enough.

I should not be here. I have much work to do. I am stealing Nora's stupid, though, because she has essays to write and I am only listening to Aidan scream a lot.

all I got was a haircut.

Pfft. All. There is the hottness of the Jessica and the hottness of the hair. Combo Clothesline, right there.

Dear god. Bad Wrestling Metaphors. Nora, you didn't say it was that stupid! I'm going to turn off the computer for a bit so I don't break it (actually, rearrange my office in prep for a project that must be done on Monday).

Ok. Grocery shopping done. Kitchen mostly clean. Banana bread made. Bathroom clean. "Storage area" stuff (tiny bit of space in the kitchen) put away. Recycling taken out. More stuff ready to list on ebay. Old tulips trashed and hanging vase washed and ready for new tulips.

Now all I need to do is go to dry cleaners, buy new tulips, sweep the hallway and kitchen, finish washing a few dishes and wipe down the counters, pick up living room, sweep living room, and vaccuum papasan and couch (they are REALLY covered with pet hair, and poor dad is really allergic to cats). Easy peasy.

I'm exhausted.
