I think the depressive funk I have been dealing with for a few days has finally lifted thanks to a lot of sleep. Now if the rain would just stop, all would be perfect.

Like Erin, I have deferred a vast quantity of student loans. I'm positive that you will get the deferment, but it probably is a good idea to call so that they can say "fill out form whatever" and you can slide through the process most easily.

vw, you could get an unemployment deferment. That avoids the shrink, the letter, the blah, and the blah. And deferrals are WAY easy to get. They want you to have it. It looks better for them than if you don't pay. They get in trouble for that, oddly enough.

I should not be here. I have much work to do. I am stealing Nora's stupid, though, because she has essays to write and I am only listening to Aidan scream a lot.

Dear god. Bad Wrestling Metaphors. Nora, you didn't say it was that stupid! I'm going to turn off the computer for a bit so I don't break it (actually, rearrange my office in prep for a project that must be done on Monday).

Ok. Grocery shopping done. Kitchen mostly clean. Banana bread made. Bathroom clean. "Storage area" stuff (tiny bit of space in the kitchen) put away. Recycling taken out. More stuff ready to list on ebay. Old tulips trashed and hanging vase washed and ready for new tulips.

Now all I need to do is go to dry cleaners, buy new tulips, sweep the hallway and kitchen, finish washing a few dishes and wipe down the counters, pick up living room, sweep living room, and vaccuum papasan and couch (they are REALLY covered with pet hair, and poor dad is really allergic to cats). Easy peasy.

I'm exhausted.

Dude. I got coffee made and started the dishwasher and I was pretty pleased with myself.

Wow, vw! I am still working on waking up. Although, I did get a ton of stuff on my To Do list yesterday, so I am feeling all accomplished.

I'm still watching the last few eps of House and then I plan to get out of the house and enjoy the beautiful day. This may involve shopping and will definitely involve taking the dog for a long stroll around a big lake.

After that... much laundry and a good cleaning of the homestead.

I have cleaned the kitchen floor, the bathroom, and eaten breakfast.

I still need to work on my room, shower, and be out of here by 5:45. And do dishes and call maintenance to fix the dishwasher.
