We had a fun night in with Tal and Tracy tonight.
Yay! You didn't have to injure anyone!
Dave made some snarky marks in Tracy's direction when she was being a jerk, but I think they all went right over her head, so it went smoothly.
Heh. Heh heh.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Deena, I forgot to say, yay makeup! I can't wait to see pictures.
Personal Hivemind.So. Freaking. Earwormed. Curse you, Andi! (It's kinda funny, actually.)
as I told her she could "help" me try everything out.Pictures!
I can count on very few things in this world, but I can always count on Jess being beautiful and having cool hair. I cling to these facts. And swallows returning to Capistrano. But Jessica is prettier.
I am sorry your stepmother is still being so weird toward you.Yeah, me too. But I vent here and it will eventually work out. I think.
I adore that Dave snarks.

No injuries. I will say that Tal is the only one who brought anything with her and the only one who offered me money for dinner (which I didn't take). But, that is just me being a little bit petty.
I adore that Dave snarks.
Yes, and he does it so sweetly too.
Yes, and he does it so sweetly too.Sweet snark is often the greatest snark of all.
Andi, the girly boy, trust me.
Well, I've always said that James Marsters would look very good in a dress, so....
I have a WWBD question.
I live on the top floor of a house with a woman and her teenage son on the lower floors. She's away this weekend. He's been doing this sneaking in thing with his girlfriend. Last weekend he and a friend brough their girlfriends over and they came in the driveway with the headlights off, and then they drove the girls home about 3:30 am. Seems to be a repeat, only with just the 2 of them. I don't really care, except that she's sneaking from her somewhat strict parents, and I'm pretty sure I caught them in some sort of stage of undress. At least he's supposedly taking her home now. Anyway, what should I do about it? It's very disrepectful of her parents to be sneaking out, and yet so teenage as well. Tell his mom and let her deal with it? He doesn't really listen to her, so sit him down and have a chitchat myself? Any suggestions? Those of you with kids, what would you want if it were your kid in that situation?

Honestly, I'm more feeling the empathy with the teenage boy than the parents on this one. If I felt compelled to say anything, I'd pull him aside at the mailbox and just say, "Just tell me you're using birth control and I won't say anything to your mother."

Talks I have had with the niecelet and will have with the nephlet have skewed this way. There are the points that you need to cover and then there are the ways we would like the world to be...
Not sure you can do anything that will really stop anything- but I would bring up the idea of birth control - just to giv ethe something to think about. and I might mention that driving with out headlight s is what made you notice them . and that you won't lie for them if it comes up ( but no, you aren't going out of your way to bring it up either) Now, if you were mom or dad, I would try talking about respecting rules if you want to keep seeing the girl. but it all depends o n the relationship you have with the boy...
