Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh yes, Electric Blue? Fades waaaaaaay more purple than Blue Velvet.

The new cut exposed a multitude of fancy colors, actually -- the back of the top is so blonde it's almost green! (I'm torn between thinking it's totally punk rock and AWESOME and thinking no, it's just the outward symbol of my inner laziness and something I should fix.)

Very nice, Jess! Even if it's faded, I like the color. Have you thought about finding something close to that for reals?

Fabulous hair, Jessica!

I just cleaned up the dishes and put them in the washer. My place looks 500xs cleaner now. If I would do my laundry and fold the last stuff I washed? It would look actually clean. Also I started something for dinner. Yay me!

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

That first picture is so very sassy! I like it.

Also, can I throttle the new "date" if he continues to type your for you're in email? It's making me crazy, and not in an I'm hot for you kind of way.

No hangover, just the perfect amount of bourbon & ginger. It's my second favorite, right after Mint Juleps. I'm not really sure where my bourbon love came from, but I blame my friend from Kentucky. That's her baby in the baseball game photo.

Family, sadly, continues to boggle me.

Pretty sure my stepmom is basically just not speaking to me. She did just send me a very short email thanking me her flowers, but it's the first I have heard from her since she refused to give me my brother's address.

I am inclined to just let it go on like this for a while. After all, I like when my dad answers the phone and I get to talk to him instead. It's stupid but her avoidance of me is better than her sending nasty letters to me.

I sent her lovely flowers for mother's day and call the house every couple of days. I am fulfilling my part of the deal. I expect one day she will eventually answer the phone and we'll talk.

I can wait.

d! we're bourbon twins! I know not where my love came from either!

Gin & Tonic is my summer drink. Bourbon & Ginger is my winter drink. Mint Juleps are my whenever I can get one drink.
