Plei, what about me? I need new pretties!

Also neutral and warm, but skip 1 and go straight for 2 and 3.

Also, I'm all sad I don't have a makeup budget. Not like I wear makeup that often (which is why there is no budget). In April, though, I bought a new foundation. I thought it was the same color/brand I bought last time, but was wrong. Stuff is so damned expensive that I'll be wearing the wrong shade till it runs out. Fortunately, it doesn't look terrible, I hope :).

I feel like this is a terribly anti-girly embarrassing question, but, it's not like it'll be the last time I embarrass myself.

When I put on normal foundation (the usual I can afford drugstore stuff), it goes on fine(ish, not considering quality, disclaimer out the ass, etc.), everywhere except my forehead. On my forehead it floats on top of my skin (float is a misnomer) with streakiness and lines and fingerprinty weirdness. Why does it do this to me? What can I do to fix it?

Is your forehead oily compared to the rest of your face? If you don't need a lot of coverage there, apply last, and mix it with a little water first. (A very little water. You just want to thin it slightly.)

vw, I am sure someone will let you play with samples at the F2F, and, if they don't, you can come by here and play with the samples I ordered when you get back.

Liquid foundation does that to me but not powder foundation. I am not, however, the one to ask about girly things.

Yay! We can have a mini make-up teaparty.

Oh, yes, I do believe it is. Even when it's dry and not at all oily, post-face wash, it still does that, but I could try the water thing.

(edit: thank you! It's nice to have a plei in my corner.)

Good to know. I have not yet tried powder foundation. I will, though, soon. I like the looks of Alima a lot.
