Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm getting the pig!

Deena! One week, roomie!

There was jello? Damn. What flavor?

It's finally Friday and the last day that I have to cover for my counterpart. Hell Week is almost over! The Good - I don't have too TOO much that I have to do today. The Bad - A crew is coming around 11am to re-do my office so I have to pack everything in it before I go to lunch.

But when they're done? Brand new office! Yay!

CASS! Come to Denver to see Counting Crows at Red Rocks.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There was jello? Damn. What flavor?

I pictured it as "blue flavor."

Because books.

Oh my. So much jello.

I'm going to the theater tonight with a bunch of friends. We're seeing Menopause: The Musical, which makes me laugh just thinking about it. Apparently four women meet in Bloomingdale's lingerie department, and they wind up filking songs from the '60s and '70s, making "Staying Alive" into "Staying Awake," and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" into "My Husband Sleeps Tonight." Should be fun.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Holy Hannah! Can we COMM the last 250 posts? No one should miss the jello-girl/boy-Brit-Scot-smackdown of the year! Hee.

Aimee, that cut is smokin'! I think I'm glad you left the bangs long, they draw a lot more attention to your eyes and cheekbones that way.

JZ is beyond glowing, she's effulgent. Baby belly! Squeeee!

d, you take a fantastic picture! Another foamy Buffista to add to our portfolio.

That's all I got. Work calls and it's not exactly a dulcet voice I'm hearing.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I woke up with the migraine from hell and the meds don't seem to be working. The up side is that I got to enjoy last night's thread antics. You guys is funny.

off to email work and say I won't be in.

move out and draw fire

Huh. The school my dad taught at set up a posthumos award in his name to be given to outstanding art students (he was the art and art history department). It's not a condition of the award, but starting with the first recipient it's become tradition to for the recipients to donate a piece of art to a permanent collection in his name. Some of the students he had (prior to the award, obviously), like Luis Jimenez, have also donated works.

The school has established a permanent exhibit (The Thompson Art Award Collection), which they were going to open this weekend, but they just wrote me and said they'd heard I'd be in town and would I attend the opening, maybe say a few words?

This means I have to pack something nice to wear.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Tre cool, Raq!

There was jello. And I missed it? Dag nabbit. But I'm probably too old for jello wrestling. sigh

I'm still floating in proud mama-land. On top of K-Bug's great game last night - CJ got his picture in the local paper with a quote - "I like reading right after school so I can read and just relax". After all his stuggles in school - this was wonderful.

I need nothing else for Mother's Day. I'm set.

Aww, Suzi, that is so wonderful. You're a good mom.
