...because God knows you need some satisfaction in life besides shagging Captain Cardboard! And I never really liked you anyway. And you have stupid hair!

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Would anyone be willing to take a quick look at the resume for me?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Feel less allergic soon, vw.

Snuggles and hugs and ~ma to those who need it. I am gronking mightily this morning.

What is even happening?

The shirts say 'fewer'. I can't have that shirt although I love it, because I love my smart boys much more.

(I could totally buy it for my cousin though, as long as she'd promise not to wear it around my boys.)

I also agree with the no-letter crowd. I am too brain dead from exhaustion to read the resume, though. Apparently, I'm redundant.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I could have sworn the shirts said "less" last night.

Ah, well.

What is even happening?

Kristin's post said 'less'. I only saw the shirts this morning. Maybe Kristin alerted her friend?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am agronk. I've been up an hour and am still debating between making coffee and just taking a nap.

Firefox lost my profile last night. Grrr. Between that and allergies, nap is winning.

Today's paper has a big article about Kaiser's mis-management of their fledgling kidney transplant program.

I rarely get to read the news - if I happen to be listening to the radio, or have a moment to clicksfgate.com, I'm lucky to see any news on any given day.

But I digress. Last night my mom got a call from a nurse at Kaiser assuring her that she is still on their transplant list. After a long coversation, with my mom citing all the things Kaiser has not been doing, she asked that her name be passed on to the federal investigation team. Oh boy.

Don't mess with my mom. She has her masters in Health Care Administration. She used to run the Renal Failure program at Kaiser, then ran various dialysis units before her own kidney failure.

Let's see if she ever hears from the investigators.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oy. There's an article in the Washington Post about how some college guys are having "erectile disfunction." They quote several male students by name, and there are several people I know quoted. That was so something I didn't need to know about any of these people, especially not from a major newspaper.

That seems like a good thing to know up front. They should do those articles regularly as a public service. Dear God why DATE guys that young if they're not going to...

Um, not that I would.

Is that the article that was blaming said ED on women's (gasp!) sexual independence?

(FTR, it was the writer doing that, not the interviewees.)
