Now tagless for your comfort.

What's the difference between Alima and Bare Minerals? I think I want to try a mineral foundation, but only Alima offers the neat sample size. I could try BM and just send it back if I don't like it, I suppose.

Plei, have you tried both?

Calli - they have not suggested a port cause the doc keeps saying 5 treatments. Then 5 more. Then 5 more. But I know my life has hit a sorry point when I look at the chemo patients and am jealous of their ports. So wrong.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I shall bring samples and stuff that had the wrong undertones or were the wrong color for me.

Oooh! I might want in on that action.

Oh, me too! Me too!

I'll join in the ranks of pale-people. Palies Unite!!

Now ChiKat, you just stop being me! Or I shall dub you doppelgangKat.

Or is Plei me? I'm ridiculously pale, except for the pink blotchies. Or after any exertion at all - I get so red I look like I'm gonna stroke out. Annoying Irish complexion.

Great pics, Calli. Such a cute 'do.

Uck, Suzi. That seriously sucks. No-more-ma for you. {{ Suzi }} (Gently, from a distance, avoiding poor bruised arms).

Very wrong. My mom has a port, and it's been a life-saver. Literally--she was on IV nutrition for a while there. I hope you're done with all the poking treatments soon.

A lot of MMU lovers HATE BM, because the bismuth in it can be a skin irritant. I've only tried it at Sephora, but it runs both dark and yellow, which eliminated it from contention right off.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I've tried both Bare Minerals and Aromaleigh and they both make my skin itch.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Hubs' mother had a port for chemo during the first round of cancer. She had clotting problems that almost killed her.

Luckily, the doctors figured it out in time (just) and got her on anti-clotting medication.

So I'm kind of skeptical of ports.

Thanks Epic and Calli. It is a good day when it only takes 3 attempts to get the IV started. My worst day took 5, or was it 6. And I know I have it easy compared to many others. Just having my own pity party here - don't mind me.

In other news - the headache is not gone, but it is not trying to bring me to my knees. At least not so far today.

But all that pales compared to the foaminess that is going to arrive in my fair city in just over a week.

It probably would for me as well considering our similarities in coloring. I may just order some Alima samples and see how that works out.
