Aw, thanks y'all! I should cut and paste Bitches 30 for when I need an ego boost.
all of my students are off filming scenes from the short screenplay they wrote.
That sounds really nifty. Does your school have the video equiptment for this or did you have to find some?
I'm so tired of bruises on my forearms and poke holes.
Ugh--I'm sorry. That would suck. Is getting a port an option?
We have a crafts thread? Where have I been??
I got excited there for a minute too!
So... I thought the rule was more 'you're not losing your problems, you're just gaining new problems - but also gaining someone to help you deal with them'. Huh.
HAH-ha!
t points and laughs at poor deluded Nicole
I fall under the category of Far Paler Than I Look, as the freckles and occasional ruddiness throw people (see also, makeup counter girls) off.
They ALWAYS start about three shades darker than they should, then get confused when, well, it looks like they've mudded me up. Then they go to the lightest shade, and 9 times out of 10, it is still too dark.
Alima, bless it, runs pale in cool and neutral (warm, OTOH, is very yellow and darker than cool or neutral). This is typical of much of your standard non-BE mineral makeup. I've met about two people in my life who were not albinos who could wear their cool level 0 shade. (Well, three if you count Pete, but he won't let us put the C0 on him to test that theory, the wanker.)
I just said I thought that was the rule. I never said I believed it! Do you see a ring on my hand? NO!
So sayeth the committment-phobe.
I love a good smoothie, and I just made a doozie.
What's the difference between Alima and Bare Minerals? I think I want to try a mineral foundation, but only Alima offers the neat sample size. I could try BM and just send it back if I don't like it, I suppose.
Plei, have you tried both?
Calli - they have not suggested a port cause the doc keeps saying 5 treatments. Then 5 more. Then 5 more. But I know my life has hit a sorry point when I look at the chemo patients and am jealous of their ports. So wrong.
I shall bring samples and stuff that had the wrong undertones or were the wrong color for me.
Oooh! I might want in on that action.
Oh, me too! Me too!
I'll join in the ranks of pale-people. Palies Unite!!
Now ChiKat, you just stop being me! Or I shall dub you doppelgangKat.
Or is Plei me? I'm ridiculously pale, except for the pink blotchies. Or after any exertion at all - I get so red I look like I'm gonna stroke out. Annoying Irish complexion.
Great pics, Calli. Such a cute 'do.
Breakfast Burrito:
But I know my life has hit a sorry point when I look at the chemo patients and am jealous of their ports. So wrong.
Uck, Suzi. That seriously sucks. No-more-ma for you. {{ Suzi }}
(Gently, from a distance, avoiding poor bruised arms).
