I can't seem to keep anything from my mother. She knew about Dave when we hadn't actually met yet. Luckily she is in no hurry to marry me off.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, yeah! But, see, apparently, I'm not trying hard enough. I should be sending out several e-mails an hour apparently. Oh, and why didn't I go with eHarmony? Don't they have better results? Even if they're more expensive...
I think I joined about ten different sites while I was looking. (Not eHarmony. It didn't impress me.) But I don't recommend it, as it's expensive, and most of the sites didn't do much for me. Ultimately I think about three sites were really worth it (including, of course, the sites on which I met AS and Wallybee respectively).
I have to admit, match.com didn't impress me much. Not informative enough, and not that user-friendly. I found Yahoo Personals to work better. (The best site I'm on, RSVP, is I think Australian-only.)
It'd be un-American to actually ever get out of debt, right?
Incidentally, the Australian government is now out of debt for the first time since about 1975. The Budget was just handed down last night. The govt is responding with tax cuts for all (tiny American flags for others). Which is nice, but I think some planning for future deficits might have been a better idea.

Congress is going to have to actually raise the debt ceiling for the government again to a bazillion dollars, so I'm thinking it can only be patriotic to spend beyond our means like our legislators.
On another topic, I'd like to say say that a tropical resort full of actuaries is pure comedy gold. I'm pretty sure this place has never seen so many sunburns.
There is no middle ground. Except for the ep named "Middle Ground" which got an emmy nomination.
Heh. OK, and duly warned about the love-it-or-hate-it aspect. Thanks.
Any Gilmore Girl watchers out there who'd care to let me know what happend in the last minute? Anything important after Gigi saw Lorelei in bed without her nightgown ?
Also, congrats to Holloweenie baby's parental unit. I'd knit sommat, but have no skills to speak of.
I went to a meditation class tonight where we chant. It was my first time doing that, and I really enjoyed it. Now I get to pretend I'm a Tibetan Warrior. I need to practice on my own, but I feel ridiculous. Which is equally ridiculous because no one will hear me. Being comfortable in my own skin still has a ways to go.
d, that was the last moment. After that, the credits rolled.
Hey, JZ, remember back here JZ "Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen" May 6, 2006 9:09:24 am PDT, when you said:
Basic black silky-rayon evening dress (with sleeves!), could easily be tarted up witth lace or ribbons or whatnot, 44-45” bust, 36” waist: >[link]Wanna help me tart it up?
Zmayhemette! Already making the world a better place through having such excellent nicknames.
Hmmm. Yarn.
My good news for the day: got the back steps and walkway swept and started a compost pile. After the sweeping, I fell down the back stairs while carrying the collected compost out to the new pile, hitting my back, breaking the compost container, and scattering decomposing matter all over the walkway. So, May 9, mixed reviews.
Ouch, -t. I hope you are okay.
