I can't believe I've lived here almost a year and not met you yet.
I can, but I have the inside track on how lame I am. And I pretend it's not visible from the outside. In fact, I just messed up my plans for today, because I am that lame. Seeing people I don't already see is nigh unheard of in my life.
Obviously you need to start krav! Then I will see you, and then we can do dinner.
But more seriously--remember when I mentioned a Valley location? They've opened the first of two just around Sepulveda and Ventura Blvd, and the second one opens right nearby in a week. So iffen you want to try it out, just give me a holler and I'll give you the details.
Which in no way mitigates the fact we should do dinner.
Got a new Tin Tin (Flight 714)
Wow, that brings back memories. Is he an Asterix fan also?
I did laundry today too. I drove down to RI to see Mom (I swear I have seen her more since I moved), and I watched the game with my stepfather and did laundry. Then I bought a pre-made (but not cooked meatloaf) that refused to finish cooking and made glazed carrots, sugar snap peas, and coucous. I think that is enough for one day for me.
Laundry has been done here too. Time to snuggle down in freshly washed sheets on a freshly made bed.
We are going to snuggle on the couch and watch Friday's Numb3rs and then Family Guy and American Dad.
Cashmere! Oooh. Are you sleeping in, and having coffee that's still hot when you drink it, and eating your food while it's still warm?
Yes, yes and yes. AND laying by the pool reading a novel (The Historian) and DRINKING without worrying about having a hangover. Although I miss the babies, I did mention to my sister she may have to keep the kids a few extra days because I do love this resort.
The Historian
Tell me what you think of it when you're done. I mostly loved it.
Hey, quick question: anyone here watched
Sideways?
I've watched about the first half hour, and I find myself wanting to slap the two main characters. This does not bode well for continued watching. Is there a good reason to continue?
It really depends on your taste in flicks, bt. I enjoyed it but I also lived in the area it was filmed and love Thomas Hayden Church.
Is Jilli around? Something shiny I think you need is here:

I would love to! I'm happy to hear that the Valley location opened. I may ping you about that later.

Yes, this.
