Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh well-- I already edited.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would be digging around desperately trying to find that two grand. My lord. Exposed brick makes me weak in the good way. And that's just the start.

Laura, I love those dresses and the idea that you'd wear the second one all the time. It's so pretty--way prettier than anything I have. Cool.

My parents don't send me cards. I don't they ever have. Sometimes they call, but I'm not much of an occasion person. You can forget Christmas or my birthday and I won't hold it against you.

The status is NOT quo.

So I've started a load of laundry and have my next load on call in a basket. That's enough productivity for today, right?

Fuck.

Laundry.

Right.

Someone should make me dinner then.

That's only fair.

Our wings are not tired

I have to do laundry when I get home from work.

I am one quarter short of being able to do 2 loads, so now I am debating if doing one load is worth it, or if I should wait until tomorrow.

I'd volunteer, but that would require leaving my sofa.

Seriously, though, ita, I would love to grab a meal with you sometime. I can't believe I've lived here almost a year and not met you yet.

I can, but I have the inside track on how lame I am. And I pretend it's not visible from the outside. In fact, I just messed up my plans for today, because I am that lame. Seeing people I don't already see is nigh unheard of in my life.

Obviously you need to start krav! Then I will see you, and then we can do dinner.

But more seriously--remember when I mentioned a Valley location? They've opened the first of two just around Sepulveda and Ventura Blvd, and the second one opens right nearby in a week. So iffen you want to try it out, just give me a holler and I'll give you the details.

Which in no way mitigates the fact we should do dinner.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Got a new Tin Tin (Flight 714)

Wow, that brings back memories. Is he an Asterix fan also?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I did laundry today too. I drove down to RI to see Mom (I swear I have seen her more since I moved), and I watched the game with my stepfather and did laundry. Then I bought a pre-made (but not cooked meatloaf) that refused to finish cooking and made glazed carrots, sugar snap peas, and coucous. I think that is enough for one day for me.
