I'm futzing around the house right now. After weeks of gorgeous weather it is gray and raining today. I like variety in my weather. But I need to shower and do another load of laundry.
Oh, thank doG... I was just trying to remember the same thing.I was sort of wondering that this morning as well. Though I am pretty sure it is my parent's anniversary. I think they are out of town.
Will wonders never cease? I bought 2, count em 2, dresses today. On line because shopping is never fun for me. I did tell GF we could shop for shoes on Tuesday because I can't buy those on line. My husband will be stunned because I never buy stuff.

Yes, my style is predictable. Also, I have very comfy pink heels so if I get too busy to shoe shop I'm still good to go.
My mother, as usual, gets an e-Card and a phone call. But she gets a phone call every week, so that's not really news.
I quit sending my mom Mother's Day cards a couple years after she quit sending me birthday and Christmas cards. This year, in celebration of her kicking to the curb my scumbucket stepfather, I shall send her a card. Dan's mother sent me a birthday card, so I want to send her a Mother's Day card.
Laura, I think dress #2 is very much "you". I can automatically see you in it, as opposed to dress #1. But dress #1 is gorgeous also.
Just back from dim sum with my aunt and now I have more than enough leftovers in my fridge for dinner tonight.

BTW, I just watched Ultraviolet. It was awful. And I LOVE cheesy action movies. But it was just...bad. Bad, bad, bad, and not even in a fun was. Boring.
I am going to the video store. I'm gonna rent some GOOD bad action flicks. Ugh.
I will be blacked out for a few days. Will be back around mid-week.
Also my apartment just flooded, as did the apartment under me as gravity is a harsh mistress. The washer filled and filled and filled while I took a shower. I love this complex and mostly the people here - they are totally dealing with it and don't want me to worry at all.

I played with lots of puppies today. there was an eskie meet up at a local dog park, and my DS and BIL brought their dogs over, so I joined them.

Skippy Skimmerson just checking in from Puerto Rico. Our hotel on the first two days didn't have internet access so I'm going to catch up between laying on the beach and laying by the pool.

It's lovely! Of course, we're now in a pretty posh resort area with a private island. But we spent the last two days in San Juan in the Candado area and it was nice, too. We've eaten out a cute little sidewalk cafes and spent some awesome time on the beach.
