Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

We have worked very hard today. We made the guest room habitable for the person giving a house concert at our house next Saturdya -and DH spent hours cowing ( sadly not yet concured ) the paper monster. While I made the house safe for the Jilli's of the world and put away a moutain of clothes . Now we get to go to Shiok! with a bunch of bayarea buffistas. This is a food filled weekeknd

Yesterday - our coffee shop is now doing vietnamese style tapas- with 3 friends we worked our way thru 10 out of 13 'Nibbles' , 2 salads, and desset. ( plus wine ) not one item was bad or even just ok. Then wewent off to a cinqo de mayo party. Which we left around 130.

This am - test run free breakfast at a new restaurant in town.(mmm eggs benadict) the a latte at our coffee house. soon Shiok!

maybe tomorrow is broth

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Had a lovely time seeing the exhibit at Lacis with the GBACG folks. Ran into an acquaintance and nattered with her a while too. Arms are on fire so I'm going to nap. Then I need to pack for the trip.

I hadn't known about the Jilli phobia for you know but it surprises me because I thought you know were kinda gothy, hein?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Watching Seabiscuit. I'm feeling very bad for the horsey.

Now I am identifying with the horsey. I'm the person this sort of schmaltz was invented for.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I have never been able to get myself to watch that movie. My dad did, incessantly, when it was on the movie channels. I think that, all by itself, may have done it for me.

Now I need to figure out what I'm doing next. I'm tired of coloring. So I guess that means back to typing. Joy.

Dh can not stop cleaning. he even started scubbing marks off doors and walls - so I intoduced him to the magic eraser. He's a convert. just too amazed . Walking around saying 'how... magic...it works...' . This is very cute.

Oh, theoretically they are, but for some reason, a lot of goths are afraid of them. I am overwhelmingly phobic of them; if I see one in the house (or in movies, sadly), my brain shuts off and I panic. I've gotten a bit better over the years, but not much.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jilli, you saw the warning not to look at the Gina Gershon pics that just went up on Venus Rising, right?

Tobey is feisty and filled with rage. Loving him more than ever.

Yes, I did. (Um, not that I have a handy link to Venus Rising, but I'm sure I will eventually.)

She did something creepy like pose with tarantulas, didn't she?
