I don't like vampires. I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think I need these shoes: [link]

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

The Australian measurements would convert it to somewhere between 'Crikey!" and "Daynjah Daynjah Daynjah!"

Which, of course, explains Madona's bras in the early 90s. "Poke someone's eye out with those things," was the goal she was striving for.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I have new . ok shorter , and all the grey is gone

I'm just going to presume beth is communicating good news directly to me in some form of telegraphese. And that she's been in the wine.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Yes.

Wore purple 2-inch heel sandals to school yesterday, on the basis that I did want something sandally & don't have anything else sandally. Well, okay, mostly on the basis that they were purple and went with the ensemble.

Never again.

And they're comfortable high heels, inasmuchas such things exist. And I invariably take my shoes off when I'm in my own classroom (as it's carpeted). But - not doing that again. No siree bob.

Re: height discussion? I'm 5ft 3, I think. Or maybe 5ft 2. Which, yes, can't reach the top shelf & have to be on tiptoes to get the middle shelf. C'est la vie.

ion, I have just sold my nice bookcase. Which had mashrabaya doors.

sighs.

And today I'm going to box up most of my books and go and sell them too, because I've reached a bit of my life when I'm okay with letting books back out into the world for other people to play with. I know they'll still be out there for me when I need them again.

I think I've grown as a person. Or possibly just become more realistic about the logistics of living out of a suitcase, as that seems to be what I'm doing with my life.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Not me, as long as the heel is chunkyish and the ball of the foot padded decently. But I am a freak.

Mostly lurking...

We have evil, evil pets this morning. Toto's been barking, which agitates Bastet, who has attacked Toto three times and me once, while I was trying to separate them. Lovely. Not quite sure what to do with them.

But, in good news, my parents are giving us one of their DVD players! YAY! So, we will no longer be tvless.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I don't know if I should be mad at the DVR or the Bravo network, but after spending all day today avoiding be spoiled for Top Chef I got spoiled for the result as soon as I hit play tonight.

sj, I think it's Bravo's fault. I always had the same problem with Project Runway. I wasn't super invested in not being spoiled, so I was ok but it happened every time I recorded, I believe.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have my prom dress (and an alternate) but I need to find shoes. Also maybe something to wear on Friday night.

Wish me luck, y'all. Psycho Big Boss is back in the office today. We managed somehow to weather the unpleasantness from earlier this week, but these days? Anything could happen.

Our wings are not tired.

Eeek. I haven't done anything about F2F clothing. My F2F shirts don't fit. I have to dig out cold weather stuff from the bins. dont have a clue what I'll be bringing.

Offer Psycho Big Boss a breakfast margarita to celebrate Cinco De Mayo! Maybe this would work for Toto and Bastet too!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Why don't we all have margaritas, and get them for eveyone around us (pets included). Sure to make things go better!
