Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Deena! Yay Deena! (And Nick's band really has a chance at a slot on the Warped tour? Gracious!)

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

YAY! I love you guys so much! I'm excited about meeting everyone.

I so want a picture of you and Clovis, Jilli, to give to Kara. She was watching Danny Phantom and decided she wants to be the character Samantha--a gothy-looking vegetarian. Kara's exact words were, "I want to be the girl with black hair who wears black all the time!"

Nick's band really has a chance at a slot on the Warped tour?

According to Nick, currently a 75% chance. They were number 1 for quite a while, but have fallen to number 6. He says a panel of judges actually chooses the bands, but the band has to be near the top of plays to be reviewed by the judges.

Splendid! What size is Kara wearing now? I may have to look for black dresses for her at the local thrift stores.

Speaking of dresses, I need a hivemind opinion: [link]

In black, of course. (If I liked the way it looked on me, I'd probably add lace trim to the collar and cuffs.) I think it would be very cute over a petticoat and stripy tights, but want other opinions.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I love the style, but I worry that the tie would be too bulky on a shorter frame.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was thinking the same thing as Plei, Jilli-- I like it, but I was wondering (theoretically of course, since I'm not buying any more dresses right now) if I was too short waisted for it.

The tie could probably be either removed, or tied in the back for a very Alice In Wonderland look. Which would be just dandy with me.

Because books.

I love that style of dress. It's always seemed very glam 1950s to me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, that's a lovely dress!
