Dear lord I feel loved. Thanks guys.
How's the house?
The house is good. We have a leak somewhere that's dripping in the basement we have to find, and I finally got Greg to agree to rip the carpet out of the dining room to uncover the absolutely gorgeous wood floor underneath.
The neighbors are interesting. Last night one, very tanned and bleached blond in kinda tight clothes and looking like she had a face lift that might have been a little bit too intense, brought us dinner in a dish to welcome us to the neighborhood. She's very sweet. On one side we have 89 yo Frances who loves the children and keeps giving Kara flowers, and on the other we have Shari, who has the 5 y.o. boy and the 10 y.o. boy. The 10 year old plays with Kara too. They're so cute together. I think she has a crush. He's very kind and careful with her.
In my threadsuck, I just got to the place where Cashmere was not invited to the zoo. I'm all incensed on your behalf, Cash. I would so invite you to the zoo, and to play in our back yard, and over for dinner... possibly all on the same day. I hope your back/leg issue is better.
DEENA!
I get to see you soon! BOING!
I love the Nora and Erin on the slide picture!
BOING!
I get to see you soon!
I know! It seems totally unpossible.
Thanks, Deena. Your zoo kicks ass, too. I'm going to try to get up for a visit to see the new house this summer.
I've got a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning. I hope they can do something because my leg is tingling right now and it hasn't stopped all day. I went to a chiro after O was born but it got too hard to keep up appointments. I'd be willing to try that again.
If my PCP can't help me, I may look for a specialist or an osteopath. I have no idea how people live with chronic pain. It sucks.

It does, and yet, it's not! Yay.
Cash, if you can find a good PT, they can help you fix that and keep it fixed. One of the problems I had with my otherwise excellent chiro, was that he made me feel better, but I didn't know how to sustain it. The PT taught me the exercises I needed to do to keep improving. Things are better now and I rarely have the leg going numb thing unless I spend too much time in a store with a concrete floor.
eta: And of course you're welcome anytime. I'd love to see you.
Perkins! I know! Crazy.
I GET TO MEET DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENA!!!
Deena! Yay Deena! (And Nick's band really has a chance at a slot on the Warped tour? Gracious!)
