You know, my big sister could really beat the crap out of her. I mean, really really.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Do they, like, crash into stationary objects while walking across rooms?

Standing. Right. HERE.

As opposed to clutching your side or hopping frantically on one foot?

Good for you!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It's tremendously entertaining to watch them trying to walk across the beach, but at the moment, let's just say they have a problem with heights. Both resisting them, and finding a way down from them that doesn't involve landing on their head.

It's true. They're kind of self-injuriously dumb. And they don't learn from their mistakes.

move out and draw fire

And I think Washington is screwing with us, as they just told us someone named "Earl Gray" is coming here.

Interview-ma Spidra!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It's true. They're kind of self-injuriously dumb. And they don't learn from their mistakes.

It's true. It's like they stuck Bullwinkle in a wetsuit.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

vw, unless rental law is really really different in MA, your landlord doesn't have a leg to stand on. You don't have to give notice this early. You may not be able to prevent her from showing the apartment but she needs to give 24 hours notice before doing so. Hit www.nolo.com and see what you can find out. I can't recommend their books highly enough, BTW.

I feel like ass. I've been having trouble sleeping lately. I didn't get to sleep 'til 3 am and because of the interview set the alarm for the first time in more than a month. I woke up at 8. Well, at least I'll be able to nap later today. Thanks for the ~ma. As I was studying the department's website and Googling people last night, I started to get nervous anew about whether I'll get this job. It all hinges on them believing that I can learn quickly and that training me is worth it. But if offered the job I want to make sure I negotiate salary better than I have before and I'd feel better if I had a socko resume to do that.

~ma to Matt.

Raq, is it this dude? [link]

Although the American spelling of "Gray" indicates it's probably just someone with cruel parents.

My new DVR sucks compared to the one I had with my last cable company. It does have 50 hours instead of 30, which is good, but it won't let me watch a show from the beginning that is currently recording without having to rewind it first and it won't let me stop a show I am currently watching and then continue watching it from the same point.

ETA: My diamond shoes are tight too.
