Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Actually she only lurks when I direct her in, or link to a conversation. Feel free to continue porning.

Dan Wheldon walked into the Andretti/Green garages. It was awkward, he didn't know why he was there... he just felt drawn to that cool dark former home and in he went...

Our wings are not tired.

Is there some kind of brace she can use that would give her use of the finger without too much pain or inconvenience?

My sister had broken her wrist a while back and had a drawer full of braces. Alas, they all fell short of the thumb joint that is failing her. I plan on visiting a chiropratic buddy tomorrow and seeing what he knows about non-shellfish supplements. I'll be looking at various braces too. I'd be annoyed at her for hiding the problem for so long, but I'm the same way.

You'd think. People did something before the miracle meds came to be.

Maybe talk to an occupational therapist? Aren't they the ones who know these tricks?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

So nice not to be the only one who went "oh, cool" at that.

Battle of Hastings was my first thought.

Hug Cass for us, Mom of Cass.

I hope you can find something to help your mother, Laura.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But mostly, I really appreciate having someone to share my sorrow about this with.
And hivemind. Which is often enlightening.

I hope that there are treatments, therapies and ways to get her back use of the joints, Laura. Should we be Googling in your steed?

What a wonderful daughter you have. We loves her we do.
You're trying to make her forget watching her grown daughter throw a tantrum today, aren't you? (In which case? Entirely in your debt.)

Mothra, benevolent winged goddess, protector of the earth.

Okay, I'm consumed with curiousity. The Battle of Hastings was in 1066. What's 2227?

Did you fling yourself on the grocery store floor?

It's hardly a tantrum if you didn't.

Our wings are not tired.

I did some Googling, but not very successfully. It will have to wait until tomorrow because almost midnight here and kids to get ready for school starting at 6:30am. Why did I not remember that I wasn't a morning person when I signed up for this mommy stuff?

Enjoy the mom visit! Hugs to both of you.

Ok, now I have a fun image to go to sleep with. Cassypants tantrum. Hee. Good on you! I think we should all have them more often.
