Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks, y'all.

I want pie now, too. But then, I usually want pie on some level.

move out and draw fire

Calli, I'm sorry your mom's chemo is giving her such a hard time. I hope they get her over the hump, soon.

This, very much.

I can't even comment on the toe-tongue guy. I don't think even a grossed-out expression at him would have any effect if he doesn't already know it's inappropriate.

Cindy, yep, it's a long line of caterpillars. They drop from these webby nest things in a big heap, and work around until they are in a nose-to-tail spiral, and then head out in a line. I used to wonder why birds just didn't eat them all up...now I know.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Calli, I hope it improves soon. Chemo's a bitch.

Cass! Which eyeshadows??? I love love love the ones I have from there. Oasis and Palomino. And Camel, which I only have as a sample. But, TO LOVE!

They have an amazing texture for their mineral foundation. I should email them and beg for peachier shades.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just colored my hair. Soft black my ass, L'Oreal. It's so black it's nearly midnight blue. That's okay, it was just a surprise. I tend to red out really quickly, no matter what brown I use, and my grey is getting downright rude. I guess I showed it. It's just still a little funny(ier than usual) looking in the mirror.

It's not just haircolor, it's an adventure!

Raq--EEEEWWWWWWW! I have severe worm/caterpillar squick.

This has been acerbated by the trailer I saw for the movie version of How to Eat Fried Worms (even though I LOVED the book as a kid).

I have to decide if I want to change cable/internet/phone service providers. I priced service with a new company for everything I have now at $22/month savings. I called the old company and the best they could do to match is $10/month. I could dump HBO and ditch one of the DVRs and probably bump that savings.

Did I mention my diamond shoes are pinching something awful?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Popeye's still fries its pies. Soooo good.

Our wings are not tired.

Much health and recovery ~ma for Calli's mom.

Temp guy Ewwwwwww

Raq's picture Ewwwwwww

I have no foundation issues. I don't think I ever wore makeup foundation. As far as underwear foundations, I wear white, black, pink, blue, stripes, dots, whatever suits my fancy at the moment. They show. Everyone knows I wear a bra. Except when I don't, and they know then too.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Feel~better~NOW~ma for Calli's mom.

smacks Temp Guy upside the head. repeatedly.

I don't use foundation, only powder. I am lazy. Also ITCHY AS FUCK, as the tattoo I got yesterday starts healing (why the hell do I work in a place that has a business dress code? Pantyhose is of the suck).

Neosporin, my old friend, you've come to soothe my skin again....

Yes, this. Chemo is No Fun.

I shouldn't have clicked on Raq's link. I feel about caterpillars the way Jilli feels about spiders. I'm not even too thrilled about butterflies, which I just view as potential caterpillars.
