You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

I sort of make it a point to visit McDonald's in every country (if they have one)...it's my own personal Big Mac Index. Here they've got a McGreek (which is the McDonald's version of souvlaki and to be avoided), espresso, an interesting seafood menu for Lent, and of course, the Artery Buster Parfait.

Did I mention a couple weeks ago that I got caterpillared? Broke out all over with something like chicken pox? These are the little bastards: [link]

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Job~ma, Stephen!

Er, temp~ma, for askye. Or possibly sense of the appropriate~ma for the temp. Whatever gets him to keep his side of public phone conversations to, "Uh-huh."

My mom's back in the hospital. The new (and allegedly improved) round of chemo led to [clinical ick]copious vomiting and the medical folks are worried about dehydration and the like. Probably nothing serious, but it's not like unexpected hospitalizations are ever happy things.

I'm getting the pig!

Suz! How are you?

I just ran out of foundation this morning and I couldn't find the same kind at Walgreen's the last time I looked. I hope I don't have to search for new base.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I just bought five foundations, three eyeshadows and two lip things. I adore samples! Even samples that I pay for.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

and that temp needs to smacked with a clue stick.

beth, I don't know whether to feel sad for you, or envy you, so I'm kind of doing both

I am feeling some pity for future me ... that still won't be able to go out in the garden an play because I need to do some indoor work.

What is even happening?

Am I seeing the photo right. Are they they long line (backwards L) that at first might be mistaken for a wire or cable of some kind?

Regardless, and unrelatedly, I want a fried oldstyle McDonald's pie now, possibly cherry.

My running around just got cut in half by the best (no lie, no sarcasm) mother from our local elementary school. I shall rise up and call her blessed.

Calli, I'm sorry your mom's chemo is giving her such a hard time. I hope they get her over the hump, soon.
