Jilli's powerbook turned up this morning. She got to hug the box for a few minutes before I had to drive her to work. Tonight I expect she'll be making posts on the new 'pooter while reclining on the couch.

Short work break is almost at an end, which makes me sad. Still need to finish the rest of today's stuff, start and complete tomorrow's stuff, meet with distributors for drinks and dinner, get my hair cut, color my hair, and then (hopefully) sleep. If all goes as planned, my reward is that tomorrow I'll be able to sit through EIGHT HOURS of Focus Group crap with NO computer access, but without having to worry about all the shit I didn't get done today. Blech.

So, came to campus to pick up my final excess check, which I desperately need. I got an e-mail last week telling me that it would be ready on Wednesday at 9am.

Well, apparently, they didn't take the "holiday" into account, and they're not in. They *might* be in at 3pm, so I'm going to wait around and hope. If not, though, I'm going to be very annoyed.

After I get the check, I think I may go deposit it then run far, far away.
