Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teacup Guy just came through with another teacup as a moving in gift. Headed to bed now. Sweet dreams, Bitches!

Yay, Teacup Guy!

Feel better, meara!

AmyLiz, bra shopping with my dad when I was a teen featured me having to explain why white bras and white shirts were unmixy things, him not liking the idea of me having (gasp) scandalously tan bras, and me getting the saleswoman to back me up on the issue.

ION I have a scratch on my hand. From a jagged. Piece. Of. Spagetti.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wear white bras and white shirts. Tan bras just look stupid on me when they glow through.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I usually wear white bras if I have on a white shirt. I never thought to do otherwise.

If I could find a bra that matched my skin tone, I'd wear it.

Never have.

I'd never have worried about it myself, but when I was in school the boys would make fun of any sign that a girl had on foundation garments. I'm rather enjoying the mental image of you making them eat their shorts instead of just saying it. t /inner 14yr. old

And yeah, they never have had a lot of transitional colors - there's white, off-white/pale pink or yellow, tan, and black. Or purple, red and animal prints. I never paused to consider how lucky I am that I can find a color that's not-too-terribly off.

When I was riding my bike to work I wore a lot of sports bras - so now about half my bras are blue. Those are the ones I wear under white t-shirts now. I guess I have given up on subtlety.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

If I could find a bra that matched my skin tone, I'd wear it.

So I take it that there isn't a wide assortment of bras in skin tones other than No One Is This Color In Real Life Beige? You'd think they'd make the effort. But then, I said that about true demi cups for Ds, and no one seems to have rushed to corner that particular market, either. Because bra makers are evil.

Next weekend, come hell or high water, I am getting a freaking bra that doesn't have flaps for work wear. I don't care what color it is.

I mean, I quit pumping weeks ago. I don't NEED easy nipple access from 9 to 5.

Vortex, IIRC, can wear purple bras and not have them show through. I'm jealous. Anything that would match me would probably be a dumb colour on its own.

I don't like beige underwear, period. I figure white shows I was aiming for the clothes itself. There is no invisibility. I wear support undergarments, and that is it.

Always Anti-fascist!

My bras are mostly loud. Have one or two white, a blue one that matches what I have on now, and red, orange, and fuchsia, because what the hell?

Back when I could fit into Victoria's Secret satin line, my bras were loud indeed. Massive flowers, bright colours, etc. However, Wacoal now fits me properly, but is unduly demure. Black, white, and the dreaded beige. So I stick to black and white--I did get one white bra with purple edging on the lace. Itt's very exciting. It'll have to be my special occasion support undergarment.
