Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The stolen lunch discussion reminds me of the NewsRadio episode with the mysteriously dissapearing Gelato.

Mostly lurking...

Mmmmm...I had forgotten how yummy cookie dough is! I don't think I've made cookies in like six months. I used to make them every couple of weeks. Our brown sugar was hard! I had to go buy more.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Maybe the lunch thieves aren't larcenous scum. Maybe they're just LARPing.

"You were Jimmy James last week--it's my turn!"

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I don't have time for killer cramps right now, but here they are anyway.

Penguins! In knitwear! With instructions!

Too cute!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Our brown sugar was hard!

Seal it up with a piece of apple.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

About time you got some good news, vw.

Part of the problem is that the only hairdresser I trust is in DC

There are some very trustworthy hairstylists in San Francisco. ijs.

I hereby curse Teppy's lunch-thieving jackholes with crippling, explosive diarrhea. SHAZAM!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Hey everybody (tried an exclamation point - too perky. tried a period - too flat. Is there a punctuation mark that's just right?)

So glad to be back in here. Work is trying to consume me this week. But I've caught up, at least for now.

Great news vw!

I t heart JohnSweden (like that's news). Tag, FTR.

I don't want to sell anything, buy anything or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought or processed, or repair anything sold, bought or processed.

I just picked this up on DVD at Costco this weekend. Loves me my Lloyd.

So draggy this morn. May have to cave and get a Pepsi. I usually try to hold out 'til lunchtime. But the gronk is overwhelming.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Part of the problem is that the only hairdresser I trust is in DC

I really do think finding a new stylist is harder than choosing a new OB-gyn.

sj, FOAMINESS! Although you're a lot more patient than I am waiting around for the stylist--FWIW, it was worth the wait.

Teppy, thieving lunch jackholes SUCK.

vw, yayayayay! I'm so glad it's good news!

Well, I took a riff on Ginger's advice and got ginger soda. And Tums. I thought about getting Pepto Bismol, until I saw the warning label that suggested seeing a doctor if I found myself going deaf after taking it. WTF? But either the Tums or the ginger soda are making my stomach feel better, and the combo is providing burp-laden joy for my soul. My coworkers are so lucky I have an office with a door. If they're even luckier I'll shut it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I really do think finding a new stylist is harder than choosing a new OB-gyn.

And leaving one is pretty traumatic too.
