"Ok, I can see how that would be annoying, but c'mon, it's hardly a capital crime."
That didn't come out quite the way I wanted. Loss of clarity can be an unintentional hazard when posting during work.
ION, last night I went to Target to get Veronica Mars season 1 DVDs on sale. The store was out, so I was forced to buy the Firefly DVDs.
And now... some culture.
Here's a link to the Norman Rockwell Museum which talks about the discovery of a Norman Rockwell painting that wasn't even known to be lost. After reading, check out the 'More Images' link in the upper right for a couple of movies showing the discovery. Well worth it.
Do you use a booginator on Liv?
Yup. With saline spray. I could only use it on Owen until he was old enough to fend off the attacks. After that, I just let him be and chased him around with a tissue.
What really sucks (no pun intended) is that our humidifier quit on us last week so I've got to go get another one.
Warm baths are also helpful. I've also got some Vick's Vapor Rub (lavendar scented!) and those plug-ins as back-up. It's like the Cold War of Colds and I'm just waiting for the escalation to pull out the nuclear arsenal.
Maybe starting the kids up on hot Thai soups? Those'll clear ya right out.
Question for tat-oriented/artistic types:
I want to modify the second tat from the bottom - it's not working, and it's not correct. Any ideas of something to disguise it/make it something else?
Spidra, the kids are in kindergarten, first grade and fourth grade. If the fourth grader practiced where the first grader does, I'd let him go on his own (although he needs a new bike, so he'd be hoofin' it). We don't yet know where the kindergartener is going to practice. The field they play at is way across town, and the field the 4th grader practices isn't a place I'd let him go on his own. It's just one of those little things that grinds a person down, not an actual problem. I just feel like every time we can see equilibrium on the horizon, someone hits the tilt button, again.

That's really something, Pete. I didn't look at the movies yet, but I was looking at the comparisons. I can see the differences, but at the same time, I'm really impressed. Good on Trachte's kids for contacting the museum and going public.

Heh.

That's gloriously bizarre, with the ugly divorce and the pull-apart bookshelf and the sleuthing by the sons. If you tried to pass it off as fiction, you'd get spanked by your beta readers for unacceptable improbability.
Yep. That's too young. And bad neighborhoods are also a restriction. Bleh. Sorry to hear about it. I know that a bunch of things in my life broke down when I got news I was going to be laid off. Because that would be the most fun timing, right?

The video really shows how well made the bookshelf is.

I'm not an artist so I don't know if this would work anywhere except in my head but my first thought was to enclose the whole set in a sort of a house with the one you want to change being turned into a window. With, maybe, a tree outside the window. Does that make any sense?
