Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I not only remember, I've used your bag of peas to ice an ankle. Well, not *your* bag of peas, but the idea.
Known as "medicinal peas" at Chez Cass.

Thanks Spidra. I was more annoyed because the shipping thing always annoys me because it's a) discriminatory and b) incorrectly discriminatory. As far as the Roomba goes, perhaps this is telling me I should get off my butt and vacuum with a real vacuum cleaner. But I really appreciate the offer!

I love medicinal peas.

I was thinking the wrought iron bars so common in that part of the world.

I'm pretty sure these wouldn't do much to stop a bear. They'll go through real doors for food when they're hungry.

Yes, but what about when they just want to do a little astronomy?

I love medicinal peas.

I don't have any frozen peas. I am now feeling that this is a deficiency. In a pinch, would a bag of frozen spinach be medicinal? I also have a lot of frozen beef. Effective, I think, if bloody. Although that's the sort of thing better left said about, say, Tim.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I once used a can of beer as a compress and then pissed off my roommate by putting it back in the fridge. Oops.

Peas are best because they are small and round. They mold to whatever shape you need. They also refreeze nicely. Medicinal peas are the elite of medicinal frozen food.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Here's the thing, though: Frozen peas are yummy to eat! I don't want to waste the peas! I'd use frozen corn.

Corn would work too. Slightly more angular though.

I basically buy one bag of frozen peas that give up being yummy peas for the good of bruisekind. The rest of the peas get to be yummy, medicinal peas get to be a different kind of comfort food.

Then you have some clever bears.

I don't want to waste the peas! I'd use frozen corn.

Medicinal peas are the best, but I sometimes use corn for the very same reason. That way there's no confusion about whether it should be used medicinally. Frozen corn? Blech. Only purpose is medicinal.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha. Somebody needs to drabble the medicinal peas for the comfort food topic in Great Write Way.

I think this is why I don't have medicinal peas; I don't think frozen peas are yummy. I would rather eat the corn.

Canned corn, Liese. Not medicinal, but the only food that's better canned than frozen. IJS.
