Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I once used a can of beer as a compress and then pissed off my roommate by putting it back in the fridge. Oops.

I don't have any frozen peas. I am now feeling that this is a deficiency. In a pinch, would a bag of frozen spinach be medicinal? I also have a lot of frozen beef. Effective, I think, if bloody.
Peas are best because they are small and round. They mold to whatever shape you need. They also refreeze nicely. Medicinal peas are the elite of medicinal frozen food.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Here's the thing, though: Frozen peas are yummy to eat! I don't want to waste the peas! I'd use frozen corn.

Corn would work too. Slightly more angular though.

I basically buy one bag of frozen peas that give up being yummy peas for the good of bruisekind. The rest of the peas get to be yummy, medicinal peas get to be a different kind of comfort food.

Yes, but what about when they just want to do a little astronomy?

Then you have some clever bears.

I don't want to waste the peas! I'd use frozen corn.

Medicinal peas are the best, but I sometimes use corn for the very same reason. That way there's no confusion about whether it should be used medicinally. Frozen corn? Blech. Only purpose is medicinal.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha. Somebody needs to drabble the medicinal peas for the comfort food topic in Great Write Way.

I think this is why I don't have medicinal peas; I don't think frozen peas are yummy. I would rather eat the corn.

Canned corn, Liese. Not medicinal, but the only food that's better canned than frozen. IJS.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I dunno. I don't mind frozen corn. I evidently have no taste.

It's not the taste that's the problem, it's the texture. Canned corn is crisp. Frozen corn is chewy, and that just doesn't feel right to me.

pop tarts: My cousins eat frozen corn on the cob, but they were born and raised in Alaska and know not the wonders of real, fresh corn on the cob. Poor cousins.
