I want a new Swedish mattress.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I want pictures of Tom jumping up and down on his new Swedish mattress.

Theodosia, that blows. I finally mailed your stuff though, which doesn't blow as much.

Sophia, I'm glad you went to the doctor.

That is patently unfair, Perkins. BTW, the pink leather jacket I was looking at in Petaluma was marked down even more in Napa this weekend, so I got it.

Well, in fairness to her, she didn't find out until Friday, and a) she even wasn't in the office, and b) didn't want other people to worry about it over the weekend.

Definitely want to see pictures of the new pink Jacket.

GRR. Stoopid head first year associate just made a paralegal ask me for something he knows darn well can be a multi hour project, and says he has to have it tonight.

Yeah, that's going to happen.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I spent 7 hours at the retina clinic today. Many forms to fill out and sign, many tests, different photographs of my retina, along with some funky machine that used lasers to measure my retina's deformity. Then I came home and napped. It sounds like I almost for sure qualify for the study, but some outside agency has to make the final decision.

If I qualify, it sounds like they'll do the procedure next week Monday or Tuesday. I also scored a prescription for Valium that I can take before having the needles stuck in my eye. Plus, extra added bonus Valium!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Swedish party = bork bork bork. That, or fish.

Sophia, I'm glad you went to the doctor! AND had to elevate your foot! The other day I saw a GL summary thing in the newspaper, and I was shocked to recognize the characters' names. But Lizzie has a baby?!??!?

I am all full of Mexican food and margaritas. Life is good.

Art Crawl!!!

Spike showed the second c.s.i. ever at 6 pm - I'd never seen it before!

Sophia - so glad you saw your doctor and got antibiotics and get to lounge and watch daytime tv.

Tom - whoo hoo for new furniture!

Theodosia -- how sucky. I hope when you get there you'll find your old computer still ready for you.

Perkins! - Did you laugh bitterly with the paralegal?

Oh, and other good news - hardly any bleeding in my retina. Which is really good, as if there's too much they have to stop it with lasers, and that causes some permanent damage....
