A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Heh. I've always looked longingly at the turnoff to Pigeon Forge, but never had enough time for the side trip.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

sevierville, pigeon forge, and gatlinburg make for a really interesting trifecta of outlet malls, theme park, and cabins. It's a nice place to go away to for a couple days.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I did get the email. Sorry I never responded. The Ick has taken hold of me lately, and forced me to be even flakier than usual. Which is saying something!

Ooh, now I'm feeling a Buffista get-together in Pigeon Forge. ::rubs hands::

Once I get my car, I'm going to make up for my five (six?) years of carlessness with a vengeance.

Heee. If you get the chance, could you send me the pictures from the weekend I was there?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

That's where my bro and SIL went on their honeymoon. I think they stuck mostly to the cabins-type thing.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

sevierville, pigeon forge, and gatlinburg

My lasting memory from the time I went through that stretch on a Monday afternoon in June a few years ago was the bumper-to-bumper stop-and-go traffic. On the plus side, leaving that traffic behind made the drive up Hwy. 441 to Newfound Gap, the side trip to Clingman's Dome, and the drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway all the way to I-26 just that much better.

That's also my lasting memory of the last time I went to Gatlinburg.

Geez, Louise, it's pouring out there right now! Wind, monsooning rain, thunder, lighting--the whole shebang.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So this morning, my boss called me into her office and basically said 'you know that big moving and storage of books in preparation of the construction' project that I've told you not to worry about for a while? Well, we need to have it finished by the end of the day tomorrow. Also, we probably want to move your office by then too."
