The lilies I bought last week from Trader Joes are looking nice and strong after 7 days. The tulips fell over within a few days. The stems flopped and then turned brittle and one of them snapped cleanly. What's up with that? It's happened with tulips I've bought before. I need to remember to not get them.

ita, I was just reading somewhere recently that Tulips last longer indoors if they are in a cool room. Like around 68 or lower. I'm betting that's not the case in your place.
