I was with the American version right up until the end, when it suddenly went all Hollywood-redemptiony for no good reason except that it was an American remake of a foregin film. Feh.

I do prefer The Birdcage to La Cage aux Folles, though.

The lilies I bought last week from Trader Joes are looking nice and strong after 7 days. The tulips fell over within a few days. The stems flopped and then turned brittle and one of them snapped cleanly. What's up with that? It's happened with tulips I've bought before. I need to remember to not get them.
