aurelia, my work email servers are shut down this weekend, so if mine bounces back, don't worry about it.
Natter .44 Magnum: Do You Feel Chatty, Punk?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
megan, hi! I haven't seen you in ages. How's tricks?
I know. I miss NY and the NYistas, but I got a quick fix in SF last week. I'm going to try and get up there sometime this summer.
I think I would like to see this French remake of She's Gotta Have It. That was back when I still liked a Spike Lee Joint. Although, I haven't seen Inside Man yet. So maybe I could like him again.
You should check it out. As an added bonus, it stars Hubert Koundé (recently in The Constant Gardener ). Yum.
I think it's on Netflix. It also was quite popular and French teachers love to show it, so you probably could find it on cassette at your local Blockbuster.
While you're there, get a copy of La Haine/Hate a strangely prescient fiction film about riots in Parisian suburbs, also very Lee-inspired but unfortunately not available here on DVD.
I ended up getting the Looza nectar. I had a complete block trying to remember the brand name, but that's what browsing in meatspace is for. I also got two bottles of $7.99 sparkling wine after noticing that the bottles I had were closer to $20 a pop (so to speak), and I'm not really going to shell out THAT much money for a brunch.

Yeah, that would be ridic. I feel the same way about the tequila that goes in margaritas.
so if you didn't get anything sign up already!
I think I am signed up. I've got the list bookmarked and I was able to look at your most recent post. Only I've got my profile set for digest, so I'll probably get the e-mail tomorrow. I was going to set it to send with every message, but I've forgotten my password so I can change my profile. Oops. Good thing there's an e-mail reminder for forgotten passwords.

Yeah. I have sipping tequila that costs a bunch, and if I liked the company I might shoot it with them too. But there's definitely lower-rent tequila for mixing.
I have a similar hierarchy for rum. If it's worth drinking slowly, it's probably too much for your standard mixed drink.
I did get freshly squeezed orange juice and the expensive peach nectar though. That seemed a better use of money.
you did exactly right - the jucies will mask any sublty in the wine - and a good jucie makes them better
Ok, brenda. It hasn't bounced yet.
Sail, you're the digested one, huh? I wasn't entirely sure what that meant.
I wasn't entirely sure what that meant.
Digested posts are compiled either once a day or when a certain number of messages is reached, whichever comes first. I'm used to faster moving boards where I might get at least one digest a day with up to 25 posts in it. I don't think I need to worry about that with the midwest list.
According to Friendster, today is Sean's birthday. Happy birthday Sean!!!!!1!
