Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, very nice. I need to work out what I've seen and what I haven't. I think it's been a mishmash.

Look at that! It's bedtime, and I even finished the work I had to do (and then some) in the half hour I've been home.

Now, if only I can find my pyjama pants, I can go to sleep.

And so begins the great adventure.

House: So what have we learned about Dr. Gregory House? He's had that bit about the dissociative coma fixing his leg mulling in the depths of his mind, he has weird dominance fantasies about Cameron--why else would he put up with her, though I'm still not sure why she puts up with him--he expects Chase to be able to replace him, Foreman is Foreman, and his family is Cuddy and Wilson. Which we knew. Oh, and he does feel some regret for things that happen.

Fascinating episode, because every darn thing is a clue to House's psyche. I'm curious to see what the shooter's real motive is and if House does end up with the psychological side effects. Interesting how he convinced himself that his team could be trusted to keep him from hurting anyone so that the treatment might be worth it. I didn't suspect the true depths of the imaginary world until poor "Harpo's" ailments became more and more grotesque--which serves as an illustration of how deeply House fears losing control of his diagnostic abilities and what will happen to people if he cracks.

Gosh, wow, and hooray for reruns over the summer. Hugh Laurie better damned well get a boat load of acting awards.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Messier and messier! Where can I file the South African ones that are attacking humans? That's the most pressing issue.

In researching this issue (they're probably Chacma baboons, or Papio ursinus, or bearboons, as I've decided to call them), I discovered that during the Napoleonic Wars, a monkey from a French warship washed up at Hartlepool and was hanged. The article states "It is unclear if the people of Hartlepool knew that it was a monkey or were merely confused as to what Frenchmen looked like." The mascot of the local football club is a monkey named H'Angus.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I think that all of McCrane's characters should be killed by vengeful helicopters.

I can't believe no one mentioned being beheaded by an ambulance.

The Alias finale cause a shuffle in my taping and I failed to get 24. Is there one more week, or was that it?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The 24 on Monday night was the finale... sorry, aurelia!

I somehow missed recording the House finale last night, but I know I'll be able to get an ahemed file from a friendly source in a day or two.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

House: What else did we learn? Being House's imaginary patient is much, MUCH worse than being his real patient. Yecch!!!! I'm amazed they didn't throw in some spinal menengitis symptoms or rapidly atrophying limbs while they were throwing every squicky ailment in the book at Harpo.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My dvr is rapidly filling up with Miami Vices. Thanks a lot, ita. At least there won't be new things for a while, so I'll have a chance to watch them.
