It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

They won't even let me look at those shoes. You have no idea how much of the internet is missing when the IT department refuses to update the Flash plugin.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I've been catching up on my tv. Did anything important happen in the last 20 minutes of 24?

I could've sworn I knew the baddie on The Unit, but IMDB tells me it wasn't Yasen. That really didn't seem like 13 episodes. I wonder if I missed some.

On Alias, I wish Anna had kept her accent.

I haven't gotten to Lost yet, and I think I lost the last half of Invasion.

ER... When Carter and Lucy were stabbed by a young Charlie Epps, was that a season ending cliff hanger? I don't remember the show ever ending a season with so many in so much peril. On the meta side, it makes me wonder if there are a number of contracts to be negotiated before next season.

I seem to remember the ER thing in February.

IMDB supports your memory. Yeah, I don't know why I was too lazy to look it up to begin with.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know why I was too lazy to look it up to begin with.

The Internet. As it empowers us, it makes us lazy.

Both my one o'clock meetings were cancelled. Which means I didn't really have to reschedule the third. And that I could have napped, or at least filled up my tank.

At least I emptied my TGIF card, and have purchased Anansi Boys. It's kinda weird, with the Bustamonte character in Gaiman's Preludes and Nocturnes from Jamaica, and another mention of the name in this book. One of our national heroes is named Bustmante, so every fibre of my body (now twice) shrieks at his spelling. It may very well be legit, but I can't help but seeing it as a typo.

eta:

Damn. I can't believe I ever worried about which bra (scroll down) to wear with which top. Go Britney!

Now that I've started looking, I see that IMDB has information on the first two ER episodes of next season. Interesting.

Ahhrg. I think my monitor is dying. Or at least sick. It's going blurry, then snapping back to normal, then blurry.

Man, is it annoying.

At least it's almost time to go.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

I have nothing to say about anything that anyone is talikng about. That's it. I am declaring myself Off Topic Man and buying a cape.

Except for this: The Unit: Mamet needs to scrape his name off that offal as quickly as possible.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I am declaring myself Off Topic Man and buying a cape.

No capes!

hi Gus!

You guys might want to watch the skies. IT called me at 4:45 ON A FRIDAY in response to my blurry monitor ticket.

NEVER HAPPENS. NEVER.

I might pass out. OK, that might be from the seasickness from the monitor.
