It's kinda weird, with the Bustamonte character in Gaiman's Preludes and Nocturnes from Jamaica, and another mention of the name in this book. One of our national heroes is named Bustmante, so every fibre of my body (now twice) shrieks at his spelling. It may very well be legit, but I can't help but seeing it as a typo.

You guys might want to watch the skies. IT called me at 4:45 ON A FRIDAY in response to my blurry monitor ticket.

Yeah, ER seemed to have way more people in peril than usual. The last one I remember with this many people down was the one with the possible smallpox, where Abby and Carter had been majorly exposed, and just about everyone else except Kerry was minorly exposed, and that was the same episode where Romano lost his arm. But this time, we've got what? Jerry possibly dying, several other people with more minor gunshot wounds, Abby maybe hemoraging, Luka's still tied to the bed and intubated but seems like he's breathing well enough now that he'll be OK until someone finds him, and Sam in the van with now-crazy ex. Plus, both Kerry and Luka somewhat threatened with being fired. Did I miss anything?

No capes!
