Shit's all sorts of different now.

It is not the year for gauchos. Last year wasn't and next year won't be. It is never the year for gauchos. Really.

*pout* My new favorite pants are my gauchos. They are kind of flippy and I wear them with my Chucks. :)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But it's the year of the anti-nipple. For some women it takes padding to achieve this.

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. Even those of us with smaller breasts we aren't necessarily trying to make bigger sometimes like the modesty of the lightly padded bra.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Love the new thread title!

Also, love gauchos. I am a proud gaucho wearing fool. I think every year should be the year of the gaucho. No strong feelings on the padded bra, though.

I'm just on the edge of getting sick. I hate that feeling.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think every year should be the year of the Many Fashion Options, Including Bras.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It is never the year for gauchos. Really.

Unless of course you ride The Pampas with your bolo at the ready.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

The gaucho and high boot trend is one even I notice, and I really hate it.

I wish I had access to the photo of 7 year-old me (1977) in my Christmas outfit of short-sleeved tan sweater, tan gauchos, and brown tall boots. It's hysterical.

ION, Tom Cruise will RIDE THE SUBWAY to promote MI:III's premiere at the Trbeca Film Festival. (No, I don't know why this is news either, unless you want to be sure and not ride the subway that day.)

Make that "The Daily Show must book him as a guest."

I'd love to see him on the Colbert Report, with Stephen interrogating the impostorinterviewing him as if he were The Daily Show's Jon Stewart.

for someone who won't wear shorts (above the knee), capris/gauchos/cropped pants are a nice option - they also seem to be more acceptable at work than shorts.

On the other hand "dress shorts" are evil.
