You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

happy birthday Vortex

hooray ,jengod!

I think the first time I met people was at the buffista tea in sf, but it also might have been at JZ's house. I honestly can't keep it straight...I do know the first couple of times I met people I reverted to my very shy , self - consious self - but that doesn't seem to be a real problem . a little strained when I met people one on one , but that's because my job is listener, not talker . ( even though I can talk you ear off - but only sometimes)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I met buffistas, thessaly and victor, before I joined the board, and I met a bunch of Sommervillians shortly after that. I don't think I would have had to nerve to meet people in meatspace if it hadn't happened that way.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Congrats, jengod and Andrew!!!

Happy Birthday, Vortex!!

Congratulations Jengod!

Now tagless for your comfort.

when have you met an online friend in face-space for the first time? In what circumstances?

I flew to London for a meet up with bronzers in Cardiff, Wales. First friend I met in person was a kid named Simon with the most incomprehensible Welsh accent. We met at Paddington Station and went straight to a pub and got shit faced drunk.

Nora -- I think the guy I knew from before was Jerry Boyajian, come to think of it, whom I also knew from online in rec.arts.comics back in the 80s.

Why is my state nuts?

BLACK JACK, Mo. - The city council has rejected a measure allowing unmarried couples with multiple children to live together, and the mayor said those who fall into that category could soon face eviction.
