TAR: this episode is cracking me up, between the monkeys and the bug eating.

Yolanda: I'm from the South, I'll eat anything fried.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Eh. In interviews I've read, his stance on most platform issues mirrored mine except for the necessity of the war in Iraq itself. And at least with his war experience I can be fairly confident he's not one to blow off the consequences in human suffering, unlike certain presently sitting officials who seem to regard the process as equivalent to a game of cowboys and Indians. Hadn't heard of any recent asshattery toward Obama, though.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

It will keep my back straight?

If you slouch while sitting on a balance ball, you wobble alarmingly and possibly fall over. You have to sit up straight. I lurves my balance ball.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Bones: Why did they have this big "AH HAH" moment when they realized he was shot with an AK-47 as a coverup? Wasn't that sorta obvious once they determined the AK didn't kill him and the friendly fire had been covered up?

The Unit, first episode last night: My god, was that fraud B plot coming from a mile away or what? I FFed through all those bits. I hope it's wrapped up with extreme prejudice.

Ugh. Head kinda hurts. I should nap before teaching.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Or, you know, not teach.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I wonder why Evan Bayh gets no love from the Dems. He's a former governor, current senator, a centrist and damned fine looking.

Hillary gets unfairly branded as the antichrist simply because of her name and her husband. The Republicans who support upstanding, conservatives like Newt Gingrich (divorced, served his wife with papers while she was in the hospital for chemo) and Dan Burton (the happily married man whose mistress gave birth to his illegitimate child) wouldn't dare support a woman who stood by her husband in a crisis of fidelity and managed to work their marriage out to the benefit of themselves and their child. *shrug* Dems cannot win with Hillary, as much as I hate to say it.

If Obama doesn't run, I'm in need of a political woobie. Edwards might give it a go, but I think it would depend on how well Elizabeth's health is at the time.

If I don't teach, I have to find my own replacement.

Teaching is a lot less stressful.
