What is even happening?

Heh! I just checked the lj. Part 8 still isn't up, Sophia. *sigh* I imagine with the finale coming tonight, that we probably won't see it for a few days.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The movie has parkour! I totally have to check that out, Jesse. Thanks for the heads up.

Anytime.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I got called by my Mom this morning with the news that my aunt (76) had suffered a stroke last night. According to my uncle, the bearer of the bad news, she's in the hospital and already showing some good signs of recovery. Continued aunt-ma would be helpful, as she deserves as many more good years as she can get....

What is even happening?

Oh, Theo. Much health and recovery to her.

From what I remember when my f-i-l and grandfather had strokes, sometimes it takes a little while to determine how the patient is doing (swelling has to subside, or the like), so I think it is good they're already seeing good signs.

My grandfather's only permanent after-effect was slightly limited use of his right thumb, which really only caused him difficulty in removing bills from envelopes. My f-i-l has the teensiest of aphasia (if you could measure aphasia via microscope, it still might not show up) that is really only noticeable to him. If he were a member of my mother's family, we wouldn't even consider it aphasia.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You need the sari but also an underskirt and a top. I just wore a t-shirt under mine since I was borrowing everthing else, and noone had a top to fit me. There are sites on the internet that show you how to wrap a sari, but there's different styles from different regions of India.

I have a loaner set (though the top will likely be too small) to practice with in regards to both wrapping and not falling down.

Hopefully the groom is from the easy wrap region of India.

What is even happening?

Sophia, for whatever reason, it wasn't linked at the end of chapter six. I suppose they just forgot. I went directly to the LJ, because I figured there had to be more by now (I just read it over the weekend). They've made a trailer too, but I haven't watched it. My computer's media programs don't all work correctly, so I didn't want to disappoint myself, because the odds are it won't play for me.
