You need the sari but also an underskirt and a top. I just wore a t-shirt under mine since I was borrowing everthing else, and noone had a top to fit me. There are sites on the internet that show you how to wrap a sari, but there's different styles from different regions of India.
I have a loaner set (though the top will likely be too small) to practice with in regards to both wrapping and not falling down.
Hopefully the groom is from the easy wrap region of India.
Sophia, for whatever reason, it wasn't linked at the end of chapter six. I suppose they just forgot. I went directly to the LJ, because I figured there had to be more by now (I just read it over the weekend). They've made a trailer too, but I haven't watched it. My computer's media programs don't all work correctly, so I didn't want to disappoint myself, because the odds are it won't play for me.
Kathy, which of those is supposed to sound like the insect?
The "aa-nt" (it's hard to write down that nasal inflection).
Oh, and for nonlinguistic good news, my deposit check from the old apartment was already in my mailbox last night, and the manager just checked the apartment on Thursday night! Fast service--yay! (It's already in the checking account, now I just have to wait for it to clear before I can put more than the $1.16 I've been carrying around in my wallet since last Friday.)
Health-ma to Theodosia's aunt.
The "aa-nt" (it's hard to write down that nasal inflection).I just always write "ant", so I wasn't sure.
I am working from home! Nobody at work seems to be noticing (not that they necessarily notice when I work from work), but I feel the need to email them all and say, "Look! I'm doing this stuff!" I am resisting by telling you-all.
Working from home involves 3 different browsers at the moment (Web Notes only works in IE; the intranet shows up wonky in IE for Mac but fine in Firefox; and Safari is open because that's where my procrastination bookmarks live.)
Aunt Janet is definitely an awwwwwhnt, except that when we say her name we pronounce it 'ant janet'. She's got lupus, plus she's a two-time cancer survivor, plus she's had clotting problems for years... the lady is tough as nails. If anybody has a chance of coming through this, it's her.
Helth-ma to your aunt, Theo.
Much health~ma to your awwwwwhnt, Theodosia.
