Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

I do love a good boundary--and how do you know it's good if you don't bounce off it a couple times?

I think this is the lesson for today.

Sean and Perkins need links to that David Hasselhof speedo thing to help cleanse their minds.

David Hasselhof singing Hooked on a Feeling is enough for me, thanks.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

all good sense should have told you just to skip on by at that point

Then how would you know I didn't actually post anything gross?

See? Exactly the sort of assumption one might foster if reluctant to challenge one's own assumptions.

Dammit. Need to do laundry and order pizza. But at least venus is updated--weirdly, I ended up liking Molly Parker more and more with each picture of hers I looked at. Crafty work by Plei.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

So... when a car battery is drained to the point that the key fob doesn't work will a jump start still work, or is it pretty much tow and buy a new battery?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ita, I appreciate your finely calibrated sense of decency.

I should have had more tights. Fun tights. But either I never found them, or found them but not their context.

Which reminds me--I should get stockings with seams up the back. And maybe even bows.

Okay, pizza ordered, laundry sorted. Now to take the first load down.

And I've missed my meds, which might explain why the base of my skull is trying to crawl away. Should fix that.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

will a jump start still work

It's worth a try. How about asking the tow truck to bring jumper cables?

I will. I think I'll wait until tomorrow morning when there will be shops open to take it to. This always seems to happen to me on Sunday nights. It also makes me miss my first two cars. I could replace the battery in those myself. In this one the battery sits below the wiper fluid container and is a real bitch to get to.

9 shoe boxes are headed to recycling, and 3 pairs of shoes are getting tossed. This is going better than I expected.

Hm. I just picked up the phone to order a pizza and my cordless phone battery is dead. It's been sitting in the charger for days. I'm not having good luck with batteries today.
