Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Geek to Live: Reader workspace bonanza

Totally awsome desk/workspaces. I think this is my fave:

Always Anti-fascist!

Although I am smart, and it took me a while to get the Repor...and still longer to be amused. A few times, it was like "Why is Steven being such an assh--oh, I get it!" But I'm still not quite sure what they were expecting. Is it that they've just read his name a lot and wanted some hip comic *not* famous for saying "dick"? Did they confuse him with Mark Russell? Garrison Keillor?(Although GK has been a pissed-off liberal since this admin came in, anyway, which both shocked and, dare I say, awed me.)

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Great links, tommyrot. I think I'm going to have to save up for one of those Anthro e-nooks. I'm always using my laptop on my bed and my bed as a desk. This is fine as long as I'm NGA. But not ideal.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Reader Mark needs to wash his pillowcase. Seriously.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Reader Mark needs to wash his pillowcase. Seriously.

Damnit! Now I have to go look again.

Well, maybe it's just the lighting or something making it look so yellow, but I don't think so.

Okay, I just went to Anthro's site and it's $400 for one of those babies. Think I'll be coming up with some other kind of solution.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

It doesn't surprise me how many members of the mainstream press dislike Colbert's speech, because I actually thought that he hit them just as hard, if not harder, than he did Dubya.

Yeah, this is my take on the furor as well.
