"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

George Will is actually a pretty witty guy. He usually reserves it for talking about sports,

Really? I wish he'd used some wit in Men at Work, because as baseball books go, hello to the soporific. Also, unfortunately, one of his men at work is Tony La Russa, and there's only so much blowharding I can take.

Also, George Will wears bowties. That says to me that his idea of with and mine are not the same. Also possibly that Tucker Carlson is his groupie, but we knew that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

::starts working script of horror movie featuring zombie George Will, zombie Tucker Carlson and Zombie Orville Redenbacher::

Geek to Live: Reader workspace bonanza

Totally awsome desk/workspaces. I think this is my fave:

Always Anti-fascist!

Although I am smart, and it took me a while to get the Repor...and still longer to be amused. A few times, it was like "Why is Steven being such an assh--oh, I get it!" But I'm still not quite sure what they were expecting. Is it that they've just read his name a lot and wanted some hip comic *not* famous for saying "dick"? Did they confuse him with Mark Russell? Garrison Keillor?(Although GK has been a pissed-off liberal since this admin came in, anyway, which both shocked and, dare I say, awed me.)

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Great links, tommyrot. I think I'm going to have to save up for one of those Anthro e-nooks. I'm always using my laptop on my bed and my bed as a desk. This is fine as long as I'm NGA. But not ideal.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Reader Mark needs to wash his pillowcase. Seriously.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Reader Mark needs to wash his pillowcase. Seriously.

Damnit! Now I have to go look again.

Well, maybe it's just the lighting or something making it look so yellow, but I don't think so.
