Yours is an evil laugh.

If you have to work on an Israeli schedule, does that mean you got to at least have some sort of Independence Day celebrations yesterday? Fireworks in the office? Lots of food? Some more food, because the former "lots" wasn't enough?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

unfortunately no. This is an unfair schedule sharing. none of the bonus good stuff. Although I did have BK yesterday, so that kind of counts as lots of food.

Hmm, well, did you eat it outside? because that's part of the deal. There's no leave of grass left without hummus, no lawn free of barbecueing, no kid left to wander off without a pita. That's probably the main way of celebrating that day.

I went to two picnics. In the first, my friends used the fact that they have a small square of lawn to declare letting the children play there as a picnic, and the company and food were great. When I arrived to the second, taking place in a real park (different friends), I couldn't eat another thing. But the company was still great, so it was all good.

Gronklies. Perhaps I will be more woken-up if I take a shower. Not to mention cleaner.

I'm trying to think of one even vaguely interesting thing to say, and it isn't like my life isn't full of Stuff, it's just that so little of it is really interesting to other people. Le Sigh.

Our wings are not tired.

Good morning Theodosia. I join you in uncleanliness. Also with the full life of Stuff not so much to type about.

Aurelia, that would be a lovely cut for you. She even has your hair!

My doctor just recommended I take glucosamine for knee pain. Anyone have any experience with it?

I could bore you all to tears with talk about my knitting. Or how wonderful my chiropractor is. Or my ambition to go to yoga class tonight....

Pretty sure my dad takes it, or did before his knee replacement. I don't recall there being anything of note regarding side effects or anything to be concerned about, but I don't know much more than that.

I didn't think there'd be any side-effects - it's OTC. I was more wondering whether I should bother.

Dr. Andrew Weil has a good website that discusses most alternative treatments in a responsible and non-woowoo fashion.
