Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm going to have a BAT -- BLT minus lettuce, plus avocado. I will possibly make some chipotle mayo to go on it.

I have to buy a new bed. Right now I'm just trying to decide if I want to go with something cheap from IKEA, or if I want to drop a lot of money for something nice.

And I need to decide quickly, because otherwise I'll be sleeping on the couch.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

All the mattress talk around here reminds me of McRoskey mattresses. I've read about them in the Chron and SFBG for years. They're supposed to be great. Anyway, the McRoskey site recommends this site for mattress shopping tips: [link]

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have shopped, and have groceries. (I also made an enemy at safeway, but that's okay). Now all I have to do is figure out if I want fish tonight, and steak tomorrow, or vice versa.

There's a new GA tonight, right?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Don't eat sushi on a Sunday!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

TV scheduling alert: There's an extra House on Wednesday at 8. Wednesday at 8 is KILLING ME.
Argh!

I think I am going to need a new frame soon. I'd rather lalalalalalaaaa ignore it for a while though.

I said fish, not sushi!

This is one of those "my reputation precedes me" things, isn't it?

Right now I'm just trying to decide if I want to go with something cheap from IKEA, or if I want to drop a lot of money for something nice.

I've had pretty good experiences, in the past, with IKEA. I dunno if they hold up for years and years but I think you get some good use out of them. As opposed to, say, West Elm.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

West Elm has a bad rep?

I got a charity-related e-mail from a cousin in the form of "Save Premature Babies from <cousin'sname>." I did have to point out to her that it sounded like she was menacing NICUs.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

shrift -- does your need for a bed mean that you're Actually Moved? Hooray if so... and my advice is to get a good mattress and then get a nice frame later when you've got the luxury of time to shop. Being well-rested will mean stuff like looking for a job will be less of a horrid chore than it might otherwise be!
