If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

John Rhys-Davies will take any damn role they throw at him, won't he? For an actor of his pedigree, he's in some godawful movies.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

sumi, re: Numbers,

She just bugs. It's the voice, it's the flat vowels of her accent, it's the fact that I liked Sabrina Lloyd, it's the way she's dressed in the FBI office, where David and Colby are often in suits and ties, and she's in some little skintight tank top thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm watching some Pimp My Rides that I recorded last night, when I realized how ridiculous it was to stay up til all hours watching goofy tv shows. What I should be doing is finishing the freelance job, but that will come in time.

And I called a friend to see what she was up to, since I've been feeling overly anti-social, and I think I'm going with her and her brother to see a ridiculous drag show tonight. Word.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

It's amazing to me how much crap paperwork one person can accummulate in five years. I've already got three bags completely full for the garbage, and still have to go through the computer desk. At least the clothes were weeded out last fall, so I just have to fold and stuff them into bags and they're all ready for the move. Books are completely done, and I just have to go out and pick up a few Sunday newspapers so I can start packing up the kitchen and breakable knick-knacks.

Since I found the cat's rabies shot paperwork, I'm going to take her into PetSmart tomorrow to get her claws trimmed.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Go, Kathy, with your packing! Go, Kathy!! (Trying to cheer you on!)

I have been v. productive today. So far today, I have:

1. Showered and even shaved my legs.
2. Gone to the eye doctor and gotten a new contacts prescription.
3. Gotten a pedicure. A lovely orangey red that I really dig.
4. Made a pitcher of sangria which is now melding all its lovely flavors for a bridge party tonight.
5. Made a lemon curd and berry trifle for dessert for tonight.

Go me! Still need to clean a bit.
